To add an existing VHD to the Windows 7 boot menu, perform the following steps:
- Log on to your computer
- Open an elevated command prompt and enter bcdedit /copy {current} /d "MyVHD". This will copy the current boot profile into a new profile with the name "MyVHD" and returns the GUID for the new boot entry.
